End of August, this little kitty came occasionally. He slept a few hours on our balcony chair and went back for the day. As soon as we went to the balcony he would leave his chair and go. He came back at night to eat and sleep. In the early morning he was gone. Since a few weeks, he is there daily, all day and night. He does not leave when we go on the balcony.
He is gray and white. he has a very soft, long coat like a he has not reached adulthood yet. We see his canines but not small teeth. I don’t know if it’s a male or a female because he does not let us handle enough to check and his fur is too long.
He is fearful, on his guard, watchful and stops moving at the slightest sound. He lets himself be approached, then caressed a little more day by day, but the contact is still shy. When he is hungry or stressed he makes a small, mute noise. He is rather solitary, does not seek contact with us.
Anxious not to leave him outside in this freezing weather, we feed him twice a day. He begins to enter the house and has stayed there for 1 week. However, he makes us understand at some point that he wants to go out. We do not want to give up Bo-Binou (yes he already has his little nickname) but we can not absolutely keep him (allergy + often absent from our home). I don’t know enough about cats to give you any indication of his health etc. We try to familiarize him with a cage to bring him to the vet to see if he is micro-chipped. But we will have to arm ourselves with patience. We have already posted his description on several sites.
