On Sunday we found the owner of the dog. The dog was with one of his friends close to our home temporarily until she finds someone to adopt her, and she ran away from the home of her guardian. He has health problems and needs to go into a home appropriate to his condition so he could not keep her. He was afraid that “Roxanne” would be euthanized if brought to the Berger Blanc or the SPCA. We expect to keep this, as you said, well-raised dog.
