This is truly an amazing reunion for these two pugs lost in mid-July. A couple of obstacles stood in the way of these two getting home. Not only were they at the SCDD, but the contact numbers on the post were out of service! There was abit of a scramble to track down their owner, whose email was not working either, but fortunately contact was finally made through facebook, and then an anguished night was spent, wondering if they were still there! This morning the SCDD said on the phone that they were both males but a visit was paid anyways, and it turned out they were wrong! (Always check in person!)
They were very stinky and the boy had lost a bit of weight so who knows where they were all this time. And to top it off, it’s the little tan boy’s 4th birthday today, (he had been brought all the way from Israel)! So tears of joy were shed, puppies were happy to see their family, and now that baths have been given they’ll be settling back into home life. Huge thanks to Helen and Paws for Life rescue for giving the tip, and to those who helped track down the family!
