Halak is about 18 months old, not neutered and very friendly. He went missing 2 weeks ago as he never came home in the morning to eat and sleep. His cat friends have been coming around looking for him and nobody from my neighborhood has seen him. Please help me find my cat, it isn’t normal that he just disappears. He disappeared from the Chateauguay area. Thank-you.

That’s too bad – keep checking everyday… http://www.bergerblanc.com/?p=animaux&t=errants and http://www.refugeamr.com/errant/ plus petfinder.com (most of the animal rescue groups post their animals for adoption) you can also check Craig’s list, Kijiji, and of course petluck.ca! I hope you find your cat soon:)
Trouvé le 23 août on http://spcamontrealpf.blogspot.com/ today – looks like your cat
I’ve checked and it isn’t Halak. Halak has very distinct indentations on his right ear which makes him easy to find in all the photos!
I don’t want to give you any false hope but Ilost my cat on Sunday on st-francis and although I haven’t found him, there are SO many stray cats in the orange-ish condo style apartments behind where I live (266 st-francis). There was one with eyes the color of your cat’s but I have no idea if it’s the same cat. I would go to Ste-Gall street (crosses st-francis near maple) and check when it’s dark. That’s when they come out. If I can be of any assistance please email me at achenier[at] psbboisjoli[dot] ca or call 514-928-9108
Thanks very much Annie, it’s very kind of you to keep your eyes out Halak!
Any news?
Ok thanks, it’s not too far from my home (Paul Halle).
I have seen a similar young cat on Wednesday night, am not sure if it’s Halak or not. Did not go out since there were a couple of skunks eating the strays food that I put. Have not seen the cat since. I will keep a watchful eye. Owner must distribute flyers all around. A neighbor lost her cat and only found him due to the flyers she distributed, she found him about 4 or 5 blocks away, by the river.
Owner must check also a house on De Champlain, parallel to where Halak was lost, owners of that home do feed strays, they may have seen the cat.
Also owner must follow all the tips posted on your website.
Thanks!
Bob
Thanks so much for your tips! I have a friend who told me about the people on Champlain who feed stray cats and they haven’t seen Halak either and yes they do have a flyer! I really appreciate the help 🙂
Where in Chateauguay?
HI Bob, on Viau street, in the area of Parc Josaphat-Pitre. By the way you can look up the name on the map sidebar, and it’ll show on the map!
