Chrissy is a gorgeous looking pup as well. My friend adopted yankee after Gerdy found her with a broken leg. He needs another surgery but he is very well loved and enjoying his new furever home. He gets along very well with her lab. I met him 2 weeks ago and he was such a cutie. Good luck getting your pups adopted and thank God for people like you !!! Yes Donna Cheyenne is one of my dogs and is now being fostered to lead to adoption.I have Chrissy from Gerdy’s who is also for adoption but through Gerdy’s I have been carign for this dog for 5 months. She is a great Boston, Lab mix.She was abandonned in an apt with a broken leg and ended up at the SPCA. Gerdy’s took her in she was in a kennel for awhile and then they asked me to foster her. She is a great dog. I am off to help some people that have lost a parrot.
Donna I rescue http://www.loulouadoptions.com and I made the newspapers in a big French newspaper this weekend that was my ultimate ad but nothing. She is safe and sound and I will adopt her out if it gets to that.
I am being very careful because peopel take lost dogs and sell them. Remember the chihuahua? I ahve been helping parrot people this happens way more often than it should.
Hello everyone everything has been done. Even if people are elderly which is something I took into consideration you think a neighbour or family would help them look. Everything has been done. Posters, ads, BB phone calls (they wanted to come and get the dog) Of course the answer was no I am in an SPCA area. I am even in last weekends newspaper and I asked to mention the dog thinking that maybe someoen would read about it and say omg is that my dog. NOTHING! ZERO! So I am still looking and am going to physically hit some vets in the area to see if that does anything but honestly not one peep anywhere and I have scanned ads everywhere, been to staores with bikllboards even asked a busy restaurant to put a poster in the window. In my Kijiji ads I ask for a description and info. I only put a pic on Petluck. I have only gotten calls for other dogs some that are on Petluck and I am trying to do what I can for them if I see them. I had a girl call for a Jack so I am scrolling through my numbers to refer to the ad here about a Jack. I will keep looking for another 2 weeks and after New years this dog will be up for adoption to a safe and loving home after I get her seen by a vet. Let’s pray some thing comes of all the ads and posters I have put up but would I would really like to see is the owner getting hlep or making an effort themselves if not I would sadly have to say this dog was dumped which disgusts me. Anyhoo she is safe. Let’s hope i win teh loto!!
Just a thought. Has anyone checked Kijiji or craiglist for any announcement around the date dog was found? SPCA, BB? may be the dog’s family are looking.
i checked craigslist & kijiji going back to october. didn’t see anything for this dog.
checked strays at SPCA & BB but she isn’t listed on the website. of course, she could be there and not posted online :S
Hey Loulou if you cannot keep her there are rescue organizations that might be able to help you. There is Animatch and Gerdy’s rescue. Please put up more posters in case they are elderly. Good luck and keep us posted
I have posters out and when I went back there with her when we got to the plce where I found her she started to drip pee. I got he feeling she was afraid I would leave her there. I am going to put more posters because I did think of the fact that they may be elderly

are you able to keep this dog until you hear from the owner? if you can’t, let someone know. i’m sure someone here will take her in.

People ARE cruel. But there is also the possibility that family could be elderly people who do not know what to do or how to search.

It’s very sad. He was probably dumped. Hw can people be so cruel
