I am asking for your help. This cat is homeless and very scared. It’s currently living between Bishop and Rene Levesque. It’s a ghetto area, not safe for a cat to be there so please someone, anyone, would you open your home to this cat? You can foster it until we find someone to adopt it, we just want it out of the streets and into a home with some food and water

i went downtown and saw where the cat is living – someone is feeding it and there is even a litterbox. i dont know if it’s the poster of this message that is caring for it or it might be several people. i cuaght a glimpse of the cat – i get the impression he is either terrified or just too feral.
i’d like to move him to my neighbourhood since where he lives now is going to be demolished to build condos – dont know how long he has to live there.
i’ve sent 2 emails to the poster but she hasn\t replied – does anyone know how else to reach her?

Has anyone come forward to care for it? if not, I can propose that we move it to my neighbourhood (i live in kirkland, west island). It would have to live outside though (i have 2 dogs and a cat already), but i would feed it every day and would build an outdoor shelter for it. It’s the suburbs so it would be somewhat safe for it.
A friend of mine works at a cat shelter – i already contacted her but she said they are full. She will put me on a waiting list though. I will also contact the SPCA in Aylmer to be put on a waiting list.
Obviously if someone else is willing to care for it in their home that would be ideal but if no one comes forward i will gladly move it to my neighbourhood. it’s much safer for a cat plus it will be ensured food and water.
Let me know… I can go tonight to try and catch it.
