As I was posting this last night, I thought he sounded like Noireaud, lost and posted earlier this week. And sure enough it was!!
The announcement that you sent was indeed that of the owner of the dog that we found. This dog had been kidnapped (sold?) to a third party. Which explains why he was so far from his home.
Noireaud recognized his owner immediately when his master called him and was kissing him all over and was overjoyed: no doubt that it was his owner.
What a great ending, I can just imagine the joyful reunion!!
