On Sunday September 16th, we placed one of our dogs in a new home for retirement in Coteau-du-Lac, and the people called us yesterday to tell us that they have lost him. We went searching until midnight and my husband returned at 5am this morning and he has still not been found. The people with whom we had placed him do not know him, since they have not even had him 24 hours and have already stopped cooperating in the search. On top of the dog not having trust with them, he is a little shy with people and does not approach easily, but he is quite gentle. He has a leash on his neck as the woman preferred to drop the leash and the dog rather than the bowl of food she had in hand, so he could be stuck anywhere and die of hunger or thirst.
