Yesterday (January 21 2013), my friend and I found a little stray dog as we were getting off the bus at Chambly on the South Shore at around 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the corner of Notre Dame and Lesage. She almost got hit by several cars the poor girl, but fortunately after a while, we managed to get her with the help of a lady who gave us a leash and dog biscuits. We managed to put on a leash and take her to the veterinary hospital of Chambly to be kept warm for the night as municipal offices and the refuge did not answer the phone (of course). Her picture is circulating on Facebook and on the website of the Veterinary Hospital Chambly where she should be transferred this afternoon to refuge AMR in St-Constant, since she has not been claimed this morning.
She is a female and she looks young. She’s white. According to the vet technician she might be a mix of beagle and jack russell.
