I finally found my cat Tuesday night while searching my neighbourhood, and simply by meeting a young man with his dog, and asking if by chance he saw a white cat, he said yes it is in this parking under a car. He crossed the street, and he hid when he saw me. Imagine, the third house next to mine.
Despite my attempts to take my cat he ran away. And I thought he would come to me right away with his dish that I offered him. He backtracked and went into hiding behind the fence of the house. I spoke to him gently, shaking the bowl, that I placed on the ground, and I backed away. He came out to eat, but as soon as I approached he returned behind the fence. So we had to bring a trap with his food (a cage that closes) and I was able to catch him this way. In 15 days he has lost half his weight, and he was very traumatized. After this very unfortunate experience for him and for us, and considering that he never would never come back on his own, and since a Ragdoll can’t live outside like all cats, he had a second chance.
I write all this to say to people who have lost their cat, do not always expect them to return on their own, because they are so traumatized that you have to search for them everywhere, call and ask passersby if they have seen your cat. Especially those who walk with their dog. I think fate has put this person in my path, because this is really weird, it is in calling Chico behind the closed fence, that another cat came out, he looked at us, and then left. My savior thought he recognized his cat that he had lost 1 year ago. Blockquote>
