After 5 days running loose, and very far from home a very hungry, upset Flocon was found! Hooray for Flocon and his very relieved owners!

The owner of little Gonzo was found! Just in time, as it was already hard for them to see him go. He was apparently quite the little companion!

A happy ending for this handsome kitty. Julie, who had found him just before Christmas, has let me know that they’ve decided to keep him, after no one claimed him! This is the note I received!
I just thought you’d like to know what happened to the kitteh who found us before Christmas… after no luck finding the owner we decided to keep him! We recently had him neutered and yesterday he had his final shots. He’s been steadily putting on weight (he’s still lovely and sleek though), and is turning out to be a really wonderful cat.
We called him Kikko but he also goes by Kikkolicious, Kikers, Koko, MeowserMeowMeow (he got this name in the weeks before his operation when we decided not to let him outside so as to not add to the already over-populated neighbourhood, it was like having a newborn baby the amount of times he would wake us up in the night!), and Goober.
Anyway, thanks for your help in trying to find a home for him… turns out he’d already found his home, right here with us!
Congratulations to Julie on her new family additon. Another sterilized and removed from the street and in a loving home to boot!

Very happy news! Daysie and Taz, lost since July have been found in St Hyppolite! (see comment!) Not only did the woman who had them since the beginning want money for them, but she had time to breed the very young Daysie (9 months old when she was lost) and sell her puppies! At least they’re home now where they belong!

Both these dogs were picked up by dog catchers on the outskirts of Quebec city in Sainte-Marie. No one claimed them and they were going to be euthanized. Crazy me brought them to Montreal.
The female Chow chow/ Golden mix, nicknamed Beatrice (on the left), is on the fearful side and I would like to make an attempt to find the owners once again. She is about 2 years old. She wants to be loved with all her heart and she has chase/attitude problems that I am working on. She looks like she may have lived in a garage or barn or something. She was pretty dirty. I think she may have been roaming for a while. She had no collar. I washed her and brushed her.
The male, nicknamed Otis, is a Husky, Akita, Lab mix??? He is about a year old and is very friendly and easy. He had a choker on him. I need to put these dogs up for adoption but am posting here thinking maybe someone might check it out. I cannot keep these dogs for too long. I have 4 in my home right now and have started doing vet work on them and need them placed.
I don’t know if any of this will help to find their owners but hey it is good to try. If something would come out of this it would be great. In the meantime I need homes for them.

UPDATE NOV 24TH : Loulou was able to find the very handsome “Otis” a new home, after trying unsuccessfully to find his original owners.
She did however find the owners of “Beatrice” on the left, and discovered her name was “Princess Jade” but unfortunately, it seems there’s no interest in getting her back. She seems to have been some kind of truck dog, and Loulou is working on her “Metropolitan mutt manners.” She’s showing improvement, but needs a new home soon, with someone willing to work with her. She’s young, and only wants love.
UPDATE JAN 31ST : The lovely Beatrice desperately needs a new home. You can read all about her here as well.
UPDATE FEB 16TH : Beatrice finally gets a home after 3 and a 1/2 long months, thanks to the hard work and dedication of Loulou!

This pretty, young kitty found in December 2009 in Laval-des-Rapides now has a new home, and a new, very little friend to play with, thanks to Vanessa and Isabelle’s tireless efforts!

Well, if you are looking for this pretty cat, she’s been given to Gerdy’s Rescue. Thanks again to Isabelle, for keeping me informed. They should all be so lucky!
UPDATE : Cassandra has found a new home ! I’m happy it worked out for her !

Zoreille has been found! According to their page at www.trouvonszoreille.com the couple who had stolen her became scared of all the attention, and returned her to her owners. I don’t think she’ll ever be let unattended again either ! Congratulations to her owners for all their huge efforts that finally paid off!

Bear has found his way home, thanks to Loulou’s good deed. He had jumped a fence! (See comments.)

Odin was found and is safe and sound at home ! Yay Odin!

I just received a happy note from Marie-Christine (translated here from French) Gwel had disappeared from outside a shop!
Hello! I found my dog! A lady who saw him walking down the street called the police this morning. He was in great shape, everything clean, tail brushed, and his leash was not dirty at all (a sign it did not drag through the streets for 3 days, but that he rather stayed with someone who had taken him). Thank you very much for your help, because it encouraged us and helped us find him! To all those who are searching for their pets, I say do not stop your search until you have it solved. There is always hope and we must put heart and ingenuity into finding a lost or stolen pet !
Agreed! Welcome home Gwel!

Rocket, who was missing since December 11th, spent all this time stuck in a neighbour’s garage! The most amazing thing was that the neighbours knew he was there, but didn’t do much about it all this time, despite there being posters, and despite a flier in their mailbox, and him having a collar and tags. It was thanks to the posters that he’s finally home now. He’s quite a bit skinnier, but already asking to go out again, which I’ve been assured won’t happen any time soon! Welcome home Rocket!
