Cat found on Lajeunesse in Villeray – adopted!!

cat found on Lajeunesse

Finally, a happy ending for this sweetheart, dubbed Felix, and who was first posted here on June 1st 2010! I didn’t think I’d hear what became of him, but his story reemerged recently when Nancy was preparing to leave the city, and set about finding a home for him in earnest. He was neutered, became the subject of a few videos, a blog was created for him and a facebook group was created! That seems to be what it takes sometimes, with the amount of cats in need of homes. His first home was not to work out, as Nancy felt he needed to be an indoor cat. He’d spent his life outside, so the risk of him disappearing was high. And now he’s settling into that new home, thanks to the dedicated efforts of Nancy and friends! Here’s wishing him a long and happy life, and kudos to all who helped in the campaign to find a home for Felix!

Cat found in Parc Lafontaine

cat found Parc Lafontaine

Small male shorthair grey, black, and white tabby, with all his nails, possibly not neutered but its hard to tell, found in Parc Lafontaine near Papineau and Rachel in the Plateau. He doesn’t look like he has been out on the street for too long, but he is quite slim and a bit dirty. I would estimate that he is between 1 and 2 years, if that.

We would love to keep him until we find his owners, but it’s a bit crowded in our studio apartment with our own two cats. It would be wonderful if we could place him with a foster family until he is either found or given a permanent home.

Please contact Taralyn and Michael at 514-658-7129 if this is your cat, or if you might be interested in fostering him.
