For about a month this cat has been coming to my home to eat… (Langelier / Beaucourt). He is very affectionate. He has emerald green eyes darker than appears in the photos, not declawed, and seems to be fixed. He has a small nick in his left ear. I can not keep him because I already have 3 cats. We lost our cat on December 23rd, his name is André. He is black and white and has a black “pinch”, and a scar on his right scapula (small round) where the hair didn’t regrow. He wasn’t wearing a collar, very affectionate and too sociable. Operated but not declawed. In the area of Vieux Boucherville.

Someone spotted an orange and white cat with one atrophied leg and an eye infection in the area of Messier / Parthenais near Mont-Royal on the Plateau. If anyone has seen this cat or is feeding and can approach him, give me a sign. I could lend them a cage-trap, the first step to help this cat because he would be in very poor condition. Thank you!

UPDATE – FEB 10TH : A gentleman called me: he’s been feeding this cat for a long time but acknowledges that the cat needs care. He could catch him for sterilization and care but wants assurance that someone will take him eventually. So if anyone can help 1) to financially care 2) transport to the vet 3) by finding him a home. Myself, I can take the steps to catch him and bring him to the vet. Thank you.

A very large adult black cat with medium-length fur has lurking around our house for two days, near metro Pie IX. We have never seen him in the area before. He has a big head all black and seems to be wounded on his cheek.

I received a request to pass on a warning about the Petmate cat carriers that many people have, to be careful that they’re securely attached, after one that was properly closed popped open while the cat was being transported. It seems the pins on the spring latch are quite short, and the cat was able to push hard enough to cause them to release, the cat, Hubert is now missing but will hopefully appear before too long!
Needs her owner. Friendly, affectionate. She can’t stay long where she is, she’s scared of the dog. Needs a foster if her owner isn’t found.

UPDATE – FEB 26TH : I received some updated photos of this adorable cat that was found in December. She’s looking much better, she apparently adores being held, but is having a tough time with the resident cats, due to being declawed. Her family is still being looked for but she would do well in a more appropriate foster home.
This is a calico, therefore 3 colors. She is operated. She is a very affectionate cat. Unfortunately, she didn’t have her collar on the day she was lost. She’s called Gaspacho. She responds to her name. Usually when we call her home, she returns immediately. Strangely, January 10th, around 10 pm (it was 15 minutes she was out), she never responded to our calls. Since then we’ve been searching for her. We are very worried. We live in Vieux Boucherville.
