Sushi

Sushi

Our 4 month old kitten Sushi-old kitten escaped outside without being seen on the night of Friday, February 25th to February 26th, 2011. He’s not used to going outside, despite his numerous attempts. He has his vaccines, but unfortunately was not wearing a tag, but he has a small orange collar around his neck. He is not declawed. He is very social and affectionate and not afraid of dogs. Alice, my 8 year old daughter received him as a gift at Christmas and is very sad. We are living on Rivard (Plateau), Montreal.

Bibi

Bibi

We lost our cat since February 17th. He is a short haired cat, tabby and white, with a small darker spot below his chin, and large ears. His name is Bibi, he is a one year old male, he is affectionate and very sociable. We live in downtown Montreal on Montcalm Street. Perhaps he is lost farther in downtown Montreal, as he was accustomed to go outside and come back when we called him, but strangely that day, did not return . We are very sad and hope someone found him and will read this posting.

Contact: 514-894-3396. Thank you all.

*He is older now than in the photo!

Important warning – protect yourselves!

One of the announcers on Petluck was contacted via their Craigslist ad, and happily informed me that they believed they had found the owner of their found cat. Shortly after they regretfully told me that after they’d given the cat over she showed back up at their door, leading them to realize that they were the victim of a con, and the person likely used the found cat as a ruse to get inside their house, in order to come back later and commit a robbery.

It’s strongly recommended that if you have a found animal and are looking for the owner, that you verify as many details as possible via internet and phone prior to letting anyone into your home. Ask for any details that can verify they are the rightful owners, and demand photographic proof if possible. Trust your instincts and please protect yourselves, as well as your vulnerable charges!
