Cocker spaniel found in Beaconsfield

dog found in Beaconsfield

Please be advised that on March 27, 2011, a small, black, male dog, possible cocker spaniel, was found running at large on the train tracks near Woodland and Elm. The animal has a black nylon collar, responds to English commands and may have an eye infection. The dog is currently in our animal pound.

If the actual owner has been found, please refer him/her to the West Island Communication Center at (514) 630-1234 and ask to speak with a Beaconsfield patroller.

Poupou

Poupou

A GOOD REWARD to the person who reports a black cat with a tuft of white hairs on his chest (like a medallion). One ear slightly torn. He responds to the name Poupou. He’s a male, neutered, not declawed with only one front paw with 6 toes. His coat is like velvet. He has yellow eyes like the sun. He was 10 years old on December 27th, although he doesn’t look it!

He was let out on the night of December 2nd to 3rd (following a move to Ste-Dorothée, Laval, H7X 1A1) and has not returned since. He must have wanted to return to the old address in Cartierville, Montreal, H4K 2Y4.

If you saw or are sheltering him, please let us know. He is greatly missed!!!!!

Cat found in Montreal North

cat found Montreal-North

She is a small grey cat wearing a pink rhinestone studded collar with a little pink bell attached to it. There are no tags, sadly. Her two front claws are declawed, but her two back paws aren’t.

She has been seen on my back porch for the past couple of days, and is very friendly. I’ve brought her inside a few times because it’s been very cold lately :( I live in Montreal-North, but very close to St. Michel. I’m not sure how old she is, or how long she’s been lost.

I hope she’ll be able to reunite with her owners again :( She’s a sweetheart.

Loki

Loki

I lost my cat last October. He is about 9 years old and goes by the name of Loki.

He has always been an outdoor cat so i don’t think he got hit by a car or something like that… he has never ran away or been gone for more than a day. He is an extremely friendly cat and quite a talker. I wouldn’t be surprised if he jumped into someones car…

I have gone to the shelters regularly, but nothing… At this point I just want to know if he’s ok. If he was found by another family and if he’s happy there then that is enough. He’s a big kitty. White with black patches over his eyes and a black dot on his nose. He has 2 black patches on his back and a black tail.

The address is on rue du Portage, Laval

Touskie

Touskie

Lost small calico cat. She’s about 3 years old. She is a very colorful black, white and orange. She has a spot near her eye that looks strangely like a tear. She has a small pink and white plaid collar like on those little pots of jam. She has all her claws and is neutered. She responds to the name Touskie and she loves to take walks with humans, cats and dogs. She has a microchip. She is talkative and loves to meow to express herself.

She was seen most recently in the Rosemont/Petite-Patrie area on the corner of Bordeaux/Saint-Zotique. We miss her and are desperately searching for her.

German shepherd found in Parc Lafontaine – brought to Berger Blanc!

dog-x

German shepherd, (black face), unclaimed, seems to be about 3 years old, and possibly injured on his back paw, found in the dog park on Monday, March 21st, id number 1831 at Berger Blanc. They will keep him until Friday.

UPDATE – MARCH 26 : This lucky dog was picked back up from Berger Blanc when it was learned he was in danger. He’s now in the care of Gerdy’s Rescues and Adoptions. I’m quite sure if Berger Blanc would be more transparent about their operations, a lot more animals would be safe.
