A small dog was caught after being seen wandering for at least 2 days, confused and scared, in the vicinity of George O’Reily park in Verdun. White/beige female dog was found with a red collar- no tags. Looked like a chihuahua mix probably about 13-15 pounds. I called the city of Verdun and they said they would call K911 or get her to the SPCA. I checked the SPCA blog but her pic is not up yet. She was seen wandering on Friday but was finally caught on Saturday evening around 6pm.
I really hope she finds her humans.

We found this shy yorkshire terrier in Laval near the waterfront and the new bridge on the 25 this morning (31 July 2011). He is tattooed so in principal we should be able to find the breeder.
This is a male. He weighs about 3-5 pounds. It is difficult to judge the age of a small dog but he is wise enough, but not very clean (nervousness?) So he looks like 2 to 3 years.

Hi, I found this kitty in my building July 30 around 2 am, on Northcliffe and Maisonneuve (one st over from Decarie). she was screaming pretty loud… I am not sure if she belongs to someone in the building or she just couldn’t get out (cuz the building doors are often open at daytime, and closed at night) She has a collar with a red tag that says Ms. Kitty on it and an illegible phone number on the back (I actually woke the wrong person up trying to phone them).
Unfortunately, I couldn’t take her in because we’re allergic, so we left her some food and water out in the hallway, and today I saw her on the neighbor’s balcony. Hopefully they can find the owners (the kitty looked like she was trying to get out of that balcony!) I just wanted to make sure she is in deed a lost kitty and hope she gets help!
Contact me with your phone number, so I can call if i see her again ~Nathaly 514 947 9069

Wow, fantastic news!! Mini was lost in the first week of October 2010, and is now home again!! She survived the entire winter outside! What a survivor! Big thanks to Stephen and Annie for having spotted her and for giving a sign! Hooray for Mini!

And here are new pictures of Mini at home, looking in fine form!

Maya was 10 days on the run, so there’s much joy for her young owner, who was reunited with her at 3am this morning while he was taking a nap in a car during a night out searching! A very much deserved happy ending!!

This lovely has found his family, and since “Grosse Face” was far from his home, it’s possible a malicious neighbour deplaced him. Stay safe little kitty!
