Charlotte

Charlotte

We lost our beloved dog Charlotte, a black and white Labernese of 6 months old. It was friends who were keeping her, and lost her.
She does not know the area at all, we live in Valleyfield. It happened on September 30 and a woman saw her on Sunday night near the train tracks, near where she was lost, but was unable to catch her. What is complicated is that we are two hours away, and working at an apple orchard.

In any case, the number to call if someone finds her is 450-567-7786.

Cat found in Beaconsfield

cat found in Beaconsfield

I found this cat last Saturday (September 17 2011). I am pretty sure that he is a male – I don’t think that he has been neutered. He still has his claws. He is very friendly, and rolls on his back alot for you to rub his belly. I am not able to take him home with me – I found him at the garden center where I work in Beaconsfield (H9W 3B9). There is a female black cat that spends alot of time at the garden center too, they seem to have bonded, she also seems to be missing a home.

Contact me (Christina) at 514-624-2120 or by e-mail if you think that this is your cat.

Lucky aka Princey

Princey

He was six years old when we lost him in June 2009. My mom had rescued him when he was around a year old from the SPCA, he had been very badly mistreated by his first owner. We loved him so much and think of him often! He is a male, was roughly six years old, not declawed, and was not wearing a collar at the time he got lost, after a move from Beaconsfield to Rigaud.

Thanks again and I know it’s such a shot in the dark but I’d feel better knowing I tried everything to find him.

Spencer – found!

Spencer

Handsome Spencer, missing from his new home since April 4th was found last night, helped by a few key tips. This from Stephanie :

I just wanted to let you know our cat Spencer is back home!!! Your tip about leaving pungent food out really helped! We left smelly tuna out around our house and waited outside for him until he came for it. We also got the tip about leaving the cat litter out and sprinkling some dirty litter around our lawn from the SPCA, which also really helped. We got him in last night around 11PM. Thanks for all your help! You have no idea how relieved and happy I am!

I also wanted to mention for other cat owners that having a bell around his neck is really what was helping us locate him. We just waited in our backyard listening for his bell at night. I think it’s important for every cat owner to put a bell on their cat, you never know when they might slip out the door.

Great advice, that will save some wildlife at the same time! Hooray Spencer!
