Eliot or Ti-gars – home!!

Eliot

I just received a very joyful message from Éliot’s family to let me know that after over 3 long months (he was missing since July 10th) he meowed at his door this morning, and apart from some mats seems fine! He ate a bit, and made a tour of the house and then went to sleep in his usual spot! There were tears of joy for this happy reunion, he was truly missed! Adorable Éliot, welcome home!

Small dog found in Montreal-North

dog found in Montreal-North

Yesterday I found a Shih tzu or lhasa apso type dog, he is at the Montreal SPCA since yesterday, October 17th.

Owners must show up before Thursday or Friday or he will be placed for adoption. I was very sad for him as he walked alone on the corner of Armand-Lavergne and Charleroi in Montreal-Nord (H1H 5W3). He had a collar but no medal. Thank you!

Cat found in Lavaltrie

This cat seems lost… he’s been hanging around in my yard for 3 days … I’d really like to find his owners because we can’t take him in … (he is a male, I don’t believe he’s operated and he still has his claws) We are located in Lavaltrie … it seems he is hungry and he scratches against the door to get in … His ear is injured and he meows non-stop… he’s a poor little kitty…

We found a small, grey cat. slightly mottled with beige, approximately 6 months old in the St-Henri district, in the alley between St Philippe and St-Ferdinand, near St-Antoine, on September 28th, 2011. She seems used to domestic life because she was quickly at ease here. We would love to find her house and her servants.

Not sure what to do as we have another cat and cannot keep this one and we would really like to find his owner! He is very alert and playful could be around 2 or 3 years old.

Cat found in the Plateau

cat found in the Plateau-shaved

Hi, this cat has been coming around my back deck a lot in the last week. She (I think) has been shaved to look like a poodle, has a red colour, and is orange-beige. She seems fairly young (not a kitten, but definitely not an adult). She seems like she’s been outside for a bit (is fairly dirty) but also seems to have been a domestic cat at one point (is quite affectionate). I live on Gilford between Resther and St. Hubert. Thanks.

Small dog found in Griffintown – home!

dog-x

A really happy ending for this poor lost soul, a little dog who had been found in the downtown area!

So as you know, I found a dog last night and contacted some of you so we could find the owners. This morning I was preparing to take the day off to go to the vet and check for a microchip as well as to check the overall health of the poor thing since I noticed after bathing it that it has a rash on its back and is missing almost all of its front teeth (no wonder it couldn’t eat the dry food I put down!) Since it had not eaten all night I headed out this morning, with the dog, to my local depanneur to get some little Cesar soft foods (as suggested by the helpful person at Gerdy’s). As I am walking home the dog suddenly perks up a bit and stops to listen, I stop too and then hear someone calling “Trucky! Trucky!” and the dog, who had been very melancholy and walked obediently beside me on the leash started pulling and wagging its tail in the direction of the voice! So long story short, the owners of the dog actually live in my neighbourhood and even though it had wandered Downtown (there were even some beleived sightings near Mont-Royal) we were the ones who took the time to calm her and catch her and the owners are 1 street over from us! Anyways, the dog was super happy and the owner had cream to put on the rash that they had just got at the vets and so we walked her right up to her door and watched as her family rejoiced at her return. So I am pretty happy with the way things turned out and want to thank everyone for their advice, happily the dog has found its home again! Hope you have a great day too!

A very happy ending indeed!
