An unexpected update on this boy who was found in April of this year, abandoned outside a McDonald’s for hours. (See comments.) I’m so happy that through the SPCA “Gomi” found a place where he’ll be loved as he should. (If it had been Berger Blanc in charge he likely wouldn’t be with us anymore.) Thanks to Daniel for letting us know that he’s okay and doing well!

We found a male dog on Wednesday, April 27th in Terrebonne, corner Amgora and Chemin Gascon, he is medium sized, longhaired, very obedient, loves kids, is very calm, about 2 years old. We’ll keep him until we have found his owners. I can not say the exact breed but he is cocker spaniel crossed with another breed.

Please be advised that on March 27, 2011, a small, black, male dog, possible cocker spaniel, was found running at large on the train tracks near Woodland and Elm. The animal has a black nylon collar, responds to English commands and may have an eye infection. The dog is currently in our animal pound.

If the actual owner has been found, please refer him/her to the West Island Communication Center at (514) 630-1234 and ask to speak with a Beaconsfield patroller.

Missing since Saturday 21st August from Decarie and Mountain Sight in the TMR area. NO collar, NO identification. He is a caramel/blond cocker spaniel with a white patch on his neck and chest. He has no tail and weighs approx. 31 lbs. May be fearful of people but will respond to his name (Chestnut) or words like TREAT, CORNER or NUTTY. A $1000.00 reward will be given when found.
