Shepherd mix found in Mascouche

dog found in Mascouche

My children found a dog yesterday morning on May 6 in Mascouche. This is a young dog and I think she’s probably a German Shepherd and maybe with husky. She had no collar and seem to have no chip either. She is very sociable and kind. My four children are enjoying her very much but would love to find her family! We’re keeping her at home for now! My postal code J7K 3L3.

German shepherd found in Mercier – family found!

dog-x

At 4pm today, we had to bring this German Shepherd home with us since he was running around on Mignault close to Langelier street and down from Rosemont, and he just missed being hit by a car. He seems to be very tired and hungry. He is a male and quite tall. I contacted the local police to see if anyone was looking for him and they told me to call 311 for them to do a research, but only tomorrow since they’re closed. I hope someone is looking for him.

UPDATE: Victor has found his family, not without a little regret from his caretakers, who had become quite attached!

German shepherd spotted on Langelier Boulevard

german-shepherd

I saw what looked to be a German Shepherd who was clearly lost, yesterday around 4:15pm close to Langelier Metro. I’ve attached a picture of what it looked like. It’s fur seemed a bit longer and it’s hind legs weren’t so low, so it may have been a mix of some sort. I called the local pd and they said they would send someone to check it out, but I don’t know how that went. The dog was crossing Langelier Boulevard back and forth, walking quickly up and down the surrounding small streets. This was between Sherbrooke and Rosemont, on and around Langelier Boulevard.

*nb- same dog had been spotted in the morning!

UPDATE : This dog was caught! Details are here!

Bosco – found!!

Bosco

There was dramatic rescue off the ice at Nun’s Island yesterday, of which pictures can be seen on the Montreal Dog Blog, and then some tense hours while we waited for confirmation of his identity!  Bosco was originally lost in Côte-St-Luc on Jan 14th and somehow wound up stranded on the ice! Bravo to the firefighters who rescued him. He’s one very lucky dog!

*There is still a missing german shepherd, and perhaps she is still running in Montreal, Shanghai, an eight year old visually impaired female. I hope she’ll also be found soon!

Shepherd collie mix found in St-Hubert

dog found in St-Hubert

Collie X German Shepherd, less than a year, neutered, friendly, very active. Found 2-to 3pm near the dog park at the intersection of rue Vauquelin and R100 in St-Hubert. Wearing a leather collar with motifs, no medals. He weighs 70lbs. We discovered that he responds to “Buddy” so thats what we’re calling him!

It goes without saying that I want to give the dog to his real family and not to people who would like to take advantage of a dog already operated and relatively clean. Otherwise we will surely keep him =)
