Road fatality in Hudson

Message from Vaudreuil-Soulanges Animal Control

Yesterday, I was passing through between exit 26 (Hudson Outlets) and the weight station, direction Montreal and there was a black cat on the side of the highway with a blue collar, but unfortunately it was dead on the side of the road… I’m just thinking someone may be looking for it and would like the closure…

Sorry for the bad news, but it is far better to know. RIP little one.

Cat found in Hudson

cat found in Hudson

We had a cat show up at our door yesterday (April 1st), and it started purring. It has no collar. When we are near it, it wants to be petted and rubbed.

It is very gentle and immediately rubs body against us when we are near. It also uses a litter box. It appears to be a male, but I am not sure and it seems that it might have claws but they seem to be worn as I did not feel any sharp claws but some bony bits that could be claws. Presently we have it in our garage. The fur is very matted and has many clumps.

We are in Hudson, on Cameron : 450 458-7978 – name is Rosemary or Bernard
