Our cat, Misty, disappeared in August 2011 in Ste Lucie des Laurentides, near Ste Agathe. She is about 10 months old and is grey with white patches on her face, chest and legs, with a small brush of white on her back. She is friendly and responds to her name.
Winter is setting in and one never knows, a lost cat can reappear even months later. Please, if you’re in the Laurentians, keep your eyes open for her, and please send this to your contacts in the Laurentians.

We are a French couple on a year long trip in Canada, and we have lost our dog, a 10 month old Beauceron Malinois, 2 weeks after arriving in Quebec, in Morin Heights on October 19, 2011. We desperately search each day, he goes by the name of Emil, and has a microchip on the left side of his neck. His chip is Swiss, and he has been reported lost, if any time you have news of our dog, please let us know as soon as possible, we miss him terribly, we have tried a lot of places around our house, went around to neighbors, but to no avail, we believe that someone’s keeping him, which is understandable because he is a well trained dog, and very sociable. But if you please, think of the sorrow it brings us, we love our dog as if he were our child. He had no collar on when he was lost, but it does not mean that he was abandoned or alone.

Beautiful, adored Scotch, was finally found today November 5th, after almost 4 long months and at 20 kilometres away from home! His family never gave up on him, and were actively searching for him since his disappearance on July 19th. It was because of their perseverence that the woman who had been feeding him for the last few weeks in Pointe-Calumet was able to recognize him from a poster in the vet’s office! I can’t even begin to express my joy for this wonderful news. The wait was long but their hearts were large, as they encountered another cat along the way, who they adopted and took care of while she had her babies. I wonder if Scotch will ever understand how much he was missed!
Her name is Kassy, she’s a 3 year old black Miniature Schnauzer. She wears a red collar and a white (anti-chip). She has longer hair than the pictures as a coat, a chance because it’s cold these days though. I miss her. Elle aurait été vue sur le Boulevard des Seigneurs à Terrebonne. She would have last been seen on Boulevard des Seigneurs in Terrebonne.
