Chat-Errant – found!

Chat-Errant has been found, thanks to her owner’s devotion!

I’ve just found Chat Errant after 5 days of intensive research. I contacted the SPCA, Berger Blanc, the city of Montreal, all my neighbors in a 5 block perimeter, but nothing!

I just got her out from under the floor of the neighbor’s shed! I thought I was crazy because when I called her in the street I heard her reply, but when I went into the shed, nothing. I went back 3 times and I was desperate! My stubbornness was rewarded as my cat was definitely there, under the floor, terrified for 5 days.

I undid the planks and crawled through the rubble to pick her up! She was so afraid she didn’t recognize me. The operation lasted 2 1/2 hours and she’s now here at home, in shock but happy.

Hooray for Chat-Errant, and kudos to her owner Diane!

Jasper

Jasper

We lost our kitten, Jasper, he’s a young male Maine Coon. His birthday is August 5th, he’s not fixed yet (we were planning on getting him fixed in May) He has huge paws, huge ears and big yellow/orange eyes that are always alert and sneaky. He’s super affectionate and full of energy! He likes stealing things (lettuce, used tea bags, loaves of bread, lighters, pens…) from the counter and likes opening doors around the house. He usually comes running when we tap the windows or the sliding door, or whistle/call his name.

He’s been gone since April 27th and simply didn’t come back home at night or the next morning (he used to know when my brother came home from school / when my mom had lunch break from work and he would wait for them)
My mom waited a bit because we have a neighbour with windows in the basement that cats can get in but not out, so we thought she’d see him and let him out after a day or so. My mom thinks she might just be keeping him, but we can’t be sure :( *we asked her but don’t trust her as she’s stolen our cats before*

We miss him very much and are looking everywhere for him! (he also gets along great with dogs, used to sleep on my dog *an alaskan malamute* and wasn’t afraid of play fighting with her… ) We’re from Saint-Bruno de Montarville

Moise

Moise

I had to be re-located in the disaster flooding this spring. We were able to put our cats in shelter except the cold came, and two weeks before we could go home, my cat Moise disappeared. We were staying on Des Échevins, and adjacent Golf St-Luc (St-Jean Sur Richelieu). He is in frail health and 13 years old. He is a Maine Coon, long haired, mostly white with large black spots on the sides, above the head and tail. He wears a collar with a pendant, with our address listed inside, though we had forgotten to update it (St. Jacques le Mineur).

Please call me if you see him because he is not used to winter – Sherley : 514-772-4606 or 450-291-3941
