We found a cat in October 2011 (female we believe, but not certain). He / she lives in our garage ever since. We already have 3 cats in the house. A cat of about 15 lbs, in our estimate, about ten years. Charcoal, yellow green eyes, declawed and operated, extremely sedentary and affectionate. Here is our postal code: J7C 5G3 (Blainville)

Betty

Betty

Hello, I lost my female orange cat Betty on October 22, 2011 on the road to St. Genevieve Val Belair, and I think I saw her on la rue de l’Élite Sunday, March 4, 2012. She is 4 years old, and is operated and her four paws are declawed. This is a very good hunter, but she is very timid. She did not have a collar (she’s very good to remove them). She has orange fur, very little white, but the tip of her tail is white and dark in winter. She has long hair and a long furry tail.

Rox

Rox

Hello we lost our dog, a one year old German Shepherd named Rox, in St-Césaire on St-Francois, near the bike path, on October 16, 2011 between 4- 5pm. A man would have embarked her into a blue caravan with other colors… and a driver-side sliding door (information that a neighbor gave us). She has upright ears, she is black and tan. And unfortunately, she did not have a medal on this day! We miss her tremendously!

If you have information or have seen our dog thank you to contact us! 450-469-3356 or 514-295-9480 ask for Melanie or Léo or by email :

Her front-paws are clawed, she is operated. According to the vet she is between 5 and 6 years old. She can stay with us until we hear from the owners.

Kevin

Kevin

Kevin didn’t make it home today, he was a victim of a pool drowning. Please read the comment from his owner, it raises important points on both the issue of declawing, and pool safety. Kevin’s not the first cat on the site to have lost his life this way, a common and avoidable tragedy. Declawing, while banned in many countries, is a very common procedure in Quebec, it is amputation and will unfortunately leave a cat unable to defend itself in many situations.

My condolences to the family of Kevin. RIP sweetheart, you were much loved I know, and will be greatly missed.
