Male cat found in Sainte-Sophie, near St-Jérôme. He’s orange and white and not operated. Super nice. He’s lived in our weather since 2 months, but now he’s asking to enter, so I let him in to eat and not freeze. I can’t keep him, because I live in a 3 and a half and I have 4 cats that I rescued. Veterinarians did not want to euthanize because apart from a limp, probably due to the cold, he’s not suffering. Help me find him a new home that will sterilize him. Thank you.

Cat-found-Laval-des-Rapides

This pretty, young kitty found in December 2009 in Laval-des-Rapides now has a new home, and a new, very little friend to play with, thanks to Vanessa and Isabelle’s tireless efforts!

Minoune,Belle,Puce

I live in the area of St-Michel street in Longueuil and my long haired black cat is surely lost as she hasn’t come home since the night of Wednesday, July 22…She’s about 5 weeks pregnant and I would like to be there for her delivery (around the end of August)…And also, she has a lilac coloured flea collar.

If you see her call me at 450-646-5121…please

UPDATE JAN 17TH : A rather disturbing update. The same owner has 2 other cats disappear. The two newly missing are called Puce and Belle. They could be anywhere, so if you live in the same area, be extra vigilant! This is the note I received (translated from french) :

I never found her even after clearing the area around my house, after putting up posters on poles and announcing on the Internet. Since that time, a friend gave me two adorable kittens, that are now also missing…The last went missing on Wednesday, January 13.

There’s something happening in my neighborhood, I think…This is not normal…My cats have always worn a collar and they always came back and never strayed far…I would just call or shake a bag of treats and they appeared! Anyways, I send you their pictures and perhaps by some miracle, somebody would have seen them?

If anyone has information to add, please contact me!

UPDATE : JAN 26TH : Happily Belle has shown up! Hopefully the others will follow!

Mia

Two little stray cats lost and without a family. The orange one has a white flea collar and I”ve been feeding him for 2 months already. The black one is about 8 months old and is not fixed. The cold is at our doors and I would like very much to find them a family. I live in the area of Petit Patrie. Thanks…

Found-cat-St-Zotique

This cat desperately needs to get in from outside. Can anyone offer a shelter? Bob has helped a lot of people and a lot of strays, and now he needs help too. If you can’t maybe someone you know can :

This time I need your help for a cat that has been hanging around my house for a while. I think it’s a male and is begging to go inside, having 2 dogs and 2 cats already, something I cannot do. The cat is sleeping under the shed, he’s well fed, but is in desperate need to get a shelter from this cold. I tried shelters + people I know etc… unfortunately no one responded favourably and you’re my last resort. I cannot leave him out in the cold.

UPDATE Dec 15th : Thanks to the ever amazing Isabelle, a shelter was found for this handsome guy at Animal Rescue Network, and efforts are still being made to find him a permanent home by Bob. I hope he gets snatched up soon!

UPDATE Dec 16th : Amazing news! Bob has found a home for him with his sister. The best outcome that one could ask for!

Ziggy

I’m deeply saddened to learn that Ziggy has died. He had drowned in a neighbour’s swimming pool. My thoughts are with his family.

Ginger

Ginger has been found!

We found our cat at the SPCA sur Jean-Talon ! Thanks to the nice person who found him on Fafard in Pointe St-Charles on November 22 and brought him to the SPCA. We’re really happy :)

Doudou

Doudou has been lost since August 1, 2009. She is a long haired female cat, two and a half years old. She is brown-orangish color, and her tail lookes like a squirrel’s tail. She is not declawed, but has been fixed. When she was lost, she wore a red collar with a gold bell. When she went outside, she was usually around the Oasis street in Brossard. And she never stayed outside overnight.

There was a soccer game at Parc Ste Marie on Omega street (next to Oasis street) on August 1. There were many players from other part of Brossard and Ontario who parked their cars on our street. Since Doudou is a curious cat, we thought it is possible that she went into one of these cars without the car owner knowing, and was taken to somewhere else. We have been searching for her and visiting SPCA regularly since the day she went missing.
