Cat found in Outremont – is Michia!!!

cat found in Outremont

It’s a match! This is Michia, who I posted in September of 2010. She’s clearly been wandering all this time, as she’s lost weight and her beautiful coat is looking shabby. She will join her ecstatic owner, who is now living in British Columbia! Thanks to Genevieve for taking her in and making the research! More to follow!

On an evening stroll on Chemin de la Cote St. Catherines through Outremont I crossed paths with a young adult intact male orange tabby around Avenue Stuart in and around Parc Beaubein. The cat was extremely friendly and after approaching me and meowing to be petted he followed me across traffic for about a block and a half. He’s obviously not feral but rather a very outgoing well-socialized cat, however the fact that he was un-neutered was most concerning and I immediately had to question its place outdoors. If it is a lost cat, I hope this helps you to relocate your lost kitty, or if he’s not lost but was out on his own evening stroll and the owner intends to keep the him as an outdoor cat, I beg you/them to consider getting the cat sterilized and quickly, overpopulation is the number one killer of cats.

Tabby

cat lost in Outremont

We live on Van Horne with Northcrest, close to the Wilderton Centre. On the 20th of May we lost our cat, a male, gray and white (the tabby kind), about 1 year and a half old. That day, we took him to the vet for neutering. After the surgery, when we got home, he walked around the house for a while and he was feeling ok. Then some friends came over and I don’t know what happened, he simply disappeared. I don’t know if he ran through the door or he fell out the window (one window was open in the house). I’ve been looking for him ever since and I could not find him. He is not declawed, not an outdoor cat but very friendly–though he might be scared as he’s never been outside.

If someone brought a cat that corresponds to this description (just neutered–he had the stitches), please call me at 514-559-6064 or 514-731-1283 or 514-702-0070.

We are so so sad, we love him and we really miss him. I offer 100$ compensation to whomever finds him and contacts me to let me know. Thank you.

We have found a grey adult cat in my garage near metro Édouard-Montpetit three to five days ago. The cat is hiding in a corner of the garage. It has blue eyes and a prominent white mustache. It is feeding itself and doing its needs in cat litter, so it is likely domesticated.

Cat found on Côte-Ste-Catherine in Outremont – family found!!!

cat found Cote-Ste-Catherine

I had a moment of worry when the owner of this cat was found, only to learn she’d been adopted by a new family! She was originally lost on Casgrain at Beaubien on November 2nd, and found on Cote-Ste-Catherine, on November 6th in front of the City Hall (perhaps she went to complain about Berger Blanc) ! A family friend spotted her picture here and finally today on the 1st of December, Saska is back home with her very, very happy family! Hooray!

Cat found in the alley between Dollard and McEachran in Outemont. I put a collar on him with my phone number but so far no one has claimed him. Long haired, operated male, he is 5 kg, soft and affectionate. He eats at my house and I let him inside during the night, but he does not get along with my other cats.
