Good news for this pretty boy, who was taken in by Sabrina, who had mistaken him for her cat Finnigan. She has had him vaccinated, neuteured, and treated for any parasites as well as tested for FIV and FeLV. Now, she has found him a good home with a friend. (Thanks to Isabelle for the update.) Let’s hope karma brings home Finnigan, who’s greatly missed and still being looked for!

This cat has been stray since late summer in the area of Gauthier/Parthenais/Des Erable. Since the cold weather, I’ve sheltered him as much as I can, but I already have two so he stays out when I have to go to work. He’s an all gray male, not neutered, about 1-2 years old. He was abandoned because he’s not afraid of humans. He’s very nice and sweet. I tried to find him a home where he will have all the love he deserves by putting ads in my area. I thought I had found him a home, because he spent 1 week in an adoptive family, but he came back because they told me he wasn’t okay in their home. So, I’m still with the same problem. I heard of your organization. Please help me to find him a home. He should also be neutered. I can’t keep him long.

UPDATE 28 FEB : A new photo of this beautiful cat. He is about 2 years old, is now sterilized, treated for fleas and parasites, and is still with Catherine waiting to be adopted.

A happy ending for this handsome kitty. Julie, who had found him just before Christmas, has let me know that they’ve decided to keep him, after no one claimed him! This is the note I received!
I just thought you’d like to know what happened to the kitteh who found us before Christmas… after no luck finding the owner we decided to keep him! We recently had him neutered and yesterday he had his final shots. He’s been steadily putting on weight (he’s still lovely and sleek though), and is turning out to be a really wonderful cat.
We called him Kikko but he also goes by Kikkolicious, Kikers, Koko, MeowserMeowMeow (he got this name in the weeks before his operation when we decided not to let him outside so as to not add to the already over-populated neighbourhood, it was like having a newborn baby the amount of times he would wake us up in the night!), and Goober.
Anyway, thanks for your help in trying to find a home for him… turns out he’d already found his home, right here with us!
Congratulations to Julie on her new family additon. Another sterilized and removed from the street and in a loving home to boot!

It was thought Finnigan was found, but unfortunately it was not him but another very similar, (see above). This about Finnigan:
I lost my cat, Finnigan since November 15, 2009. He lives on Berri, between Duluth and Berri. He was used to going outside and came home punctually for meals. He is fixed but still has his claws. He was not wearing a collar but does have a chip. He is quite sociable and affectionate. If stranded he would seek help, so Im hoping someone picked him up if he got lost. He is 5 years old. Semi-long grey coat with beige on the stomach and around the eyes. His eyes are green. Thank you.

Rocket, who was missing since December 11th, spent all this time stuck in a neighbour’s garage! The most amazing thing was that the neighbours knew he was there, but didn’t do much about it all this time, despite there being posters, and despite a flier in their mailbox, and him having a collar and tags. It was thanks to the posters that he’s finally home now. He’s quite a bit skinnier, but already asking to go out again, which I’ve been assured won’t happen any time soon! Welcome home Rocket!

Ruby is back, safe and sound! Yay Ruby!

Female cat, 5 years old, sterilized, lost on December 6th on Plateau Mont Royal on the corner of Villeneuve and Saint Urbain.

Yesterday I found this cat on Hotel-de-Ville between Sherbrooke and Prince Arthur. Someone had left a food dish outside their house for him but it was under a dripping eavestrough. His head was soaked, whiskers frozen, and when I picked him up I quickly realized he reeks of urine. I’m guessing he’s been on the street for a few weeks at least, but it’s the first time I’ve seen him in the neighbourhood. I checked your site thoroughly, as well as Craigslist, Kijiji, SPCA and Berger Blanc but no matches.
I brought him in last night and he’s eating and looking better, though he still hasn’t groomed himself. He may have rhino. I’ll tell my neighbours (and keep knocking on the door of the place that left the food out). I can keep him only a few days as I’m leaving for the holidays next week. Thanks so much!

My cat, Sécotin has been lost since December 5th between Messier and Parthenais streets, on the corners of Mont-Royal et St-Joseph. He’s neutered but not declawed, he’s a light gray tabby with a white patch on his belly and mitten paws. He’s really affectionate and playful.
If you find him please call 514-358-2051. Thanks a lot!

Our black cat Winston escaped from our backyard at Ave. Coloniale and Rue Napoleon in the Plateau a few days ago and still has not returned! He does not have a collar on. He is almost 2 years old and has a small white patch in the fur on his chest. He is neutered but not de-clawed.
Please, even if you just think you have seen him, let us know! Cash reward for his return, we miss him very much.
