I lost my cat Loup on the evening of May 17th. She is all black, about 8 months old, last seen wearing a red collar with a gold pendant on it that, when screwed open, contained her information on a little slip of paper. I live on Mont Royal between St. Andre and Mentana (H2J 1X3), so she should hopefully still be somewhere around the Plateau. The pictures were taken a while ago, so she’s bigger now, but hopefully they help!
There is a very thin black cat that looks like it used to have a collar (you can see an indent in its fur where one used to be) on roaming around on Laval between Rachel and Marie Ann, crying at different doors. It is verrry friendly and just seems a bit lost. This is the second day in a row I’ve seen it when I get home from work.
I have given it a bit of chicken (it wouldn’t eat the dry food I tried). If this is your cat send me an email and I can try and keep her until you come by.
“Peaches” lost today (Monday May 21). She is a calico (orange, white, and black). Lost on Chabot between Masson and Laurier. Her sister, Petunia, misses her! She’s a 3-year-old female.
There’s this stray kitten wandering my neighbourhood, H2W 2J3. Looks about a year old or less and I’m not sure if it’s male or female. It’s very friendly so that could mean it had previous owners.
I caught it consuming a baby bird and decided to start feeding it. It’s very dirty and I’d love to find it a nice home or reunite it with its owners.
Chat-Errant has been found, thanks to her owner’s devotion!
I’ve just found Chat Errant after 5 days of intensive research. I contacted the SPCA, Berger Blanc, the city of Montreal, all my neighbors in a 5 block perimeter, but nothing!
I just got her out from under the floor of the neighbor’s shed! I thought I was crazy because when I called her in the street I heard her reply, but when I went into the shed, nothing. I went back 3 times and I was desperate! My stubbornness was rewarded as my cat was definitely there, under the floor, terrified for 5 days.
I undid the planks and crawled through the rubble to pick her up! She was so afraid she didn’t recognize me. The operation lasted 2 1/2 hours and she’s now here at home, in shock but happy.
Hooray for Chat-Errant, and kudos to her owner Diane!
Someone telephoned me last night because this dog was wandering in the street near the daycare on Poil aux Pattes, corner of Frontenac and Rachel on the Plateau Mont Royal. A boston terrier mix with pitt I think. Neutered, blue collar with designs, but no medal. He’s sweet. I keep him72 hr and then I have to take him to the SPCA.
For the past couple of months a black cat has been visiting my apartment’s back balcony. At first he was very frightened but now I think he trusts me and he waits patiently for me to feed him and is no longer afraid of sudden movements or the noise the window makes when I open it. Today he even let me pet his head a little bit. I am so worried about what will happen to him, he looks so tired, I think he has had a very hard life. I am hoping that maybe someone recognizes him or someone can help me to find him a home. I’ve named him Charlie. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I live on the Plateau Mont-Royal, Sherbrooke Street and Hotel de Ville.
“Patch” was only with us a couple of days before going missing (May 12), and did not yet have collar. We live close to Laurier Park, on the Plateau. He is a large, heavy-set, male with medium-to-long grey and white hairs (some orange hairs are mixed into the grey). His underbelly and paws are white. He has yellow-green eyes, a very pale pink nose, and a very fluffy tail. If you happen to find him, please do hang onto him and contact us?
I lost my cat. He escaped yesterday night from my apartment on rue de Bordeaux (4064). He made a hole in the mosquito net of the window. He is not used to be outside. His name is Mikey, he is long-haired, black, with black nose and white mouth, he has big white paws – he has 6 toes on each foot. He is very gentle. I’m sure he’s very scared. Please help me find him! I left a note on my window asking neighbors to help me too.
This is my phone number: 514-813-1087 / 514-963-6994. Thank you!
I just fed this cat on Prince Arthur she has been sitting by the closed fountain all night. I am sure I have seen posters in the fall for this cat. Is she familiar to you? I was walking by so I got this pic.
UPDATE : Pictures just didn’t do this kitty justice, when you see how charming she is you’ll fall in love. There was a lot of worry about the area she was in, as it was a busy area where it was felt she wasn’t safe.
After this video was taken a foster home was found for this beautiful girl, now nicknamed Magic, but she still needs veterinary care. She is in need of a tooth extraction in addition to testing for FIV and so on. Louise is raising funds for her care, which will be done by the Vet du Plateau. She will also be looking for an adoptive family!
In the meantime she’s resting comfortably
UPDATE – MAY 11TH : Magic finally has a home to call her own, and a playmate! She’s kept her chatty nature, and gets along well with her new sister cat!
