Boxer on the loose in Bellefeuille, St-Jérôme

dog-x

If anyone is looking for a Boxer in the area of Bellefeuille, St-Jerome, I saw him and tried unsuccessfully to approach him. He seems shy and is a runner. He was impossible to catch. I could at least inform his owners about where I saw him. He was wearing a collar and medals. For now, I can’t do anything more for this dog. If anyone is looking at least I would know, if I can catch him. He was beige with a black face. If I see him I will pay more attention to detail. I can say that he had a black collar with metal decorations on it.

Cat found in St-Jérôme – home… had been missing since last year!

cat found in St-Jerome

Shortly after posting this I received an email to let me know that this kitty had found his family after having been missing since last year. It is quite a remarkable story, this from Nansy (from French) :

It’s really a story of incredible luck. We posted signs and my son told me his friend who lives 2 km from our home had lost a cat last year. I never thought… we went to pick up the child who said “I think it’s mine” and his father confirmed that he was, despite the fact that he was a lot fatter (probably fed by someone or else he was really resourceful, because he was a stray cat they had neutered and adopted into the family some years ago. In addition, he is declawed). Since he had an accident with his tail and markings on his face, there was no mistake. One small problem, they only wanted 2 cats but a third came a few months ago, and was operated and adopted. Today, with the return of Buzz they have 4 cats and 1 dog. Cohabitation remains to be seen but I know that the cat is not in danger, although he is a wanderer according to the father. I am very pleased to have made a child happy, and it’s really not a good time to find a home for a cat. I couldn’t keep him because he is declawed.

Fingers crossed that he finds his place within his family. What a story!

Daisy – stolen!

Sunday, September 6th 2009, my mother’s dog was stolen. Everything happened at her home, at the foot of her gallery. The thieves had cut her cord and left her collar.

My mother justed turned 80 and Daisy was in her life from the very start, 13 years. It was all she had left since the death of her husband, my father, 8 years ago. It’s a cry of help that I send you as it’s been more than 8 months since she disappeared.

If you know or have learned of something related to his disappearance or think you saw a neighbor, please, notify the police station, they can do the check! You can write to me, too, of course! Otherwise, even if she has died, if you know, please, write me so we can turn the page. It’s hard enough now! It will remain anonymous, between you and I!

Here is Daisy’s information :

  • Name : Daisy
  • Breed : Bichon Frise ( Maltais and Frisé)
  • Sex : Female
  • Colour : White
  • Tattoo : M1F on right flank
  • Age : 13
  • Place of residence: Lejeune street, Bellefeuille became St-Jérôme after the merger
  • Sterilized
  • Devocalized (which is why she couldn’t bark)
  • Doesn’t have her collar or tags, the thieves removed them!

I leave you my email address :

Ti-Pou

Lost in the evening of Octobre 1 2009, in Mille-Isles, just on the limits of Saint-Jérome. Responds to the name Ti-Pou. Operated female, 12 years old, and declawed on all four paws. She’s all white except for her tail, and a spot on her head. She was wearing a pink Safe Cat ™ collar, with our phone # marked on it. Since it’s a breakaway collar, maybe she doesnt have it anymore…Ti-Pou never wandered far from the house.

A woman informed us that on Novembre 1,  she saw her close to downtown Saint-Jerome. I have no confirmation that it was really her. It is far from me, but we never know, maybe someone brought her there…
