Modjo had been lost on January 23rd after a car accident when he had taken off running. Amazingly, the tip came in from Basia about a sighting in Parc Jarry less than ten minutes before I received the notice of his disappearance, so they were notified and were able to recover him from the Park, (thanks Sofia to have called them). He has suffered a serious leg injury, but I understand they are just happy to have him home!
Hello, my cat has not come home since last Monday. I live near metro Cremazie on Avenue Chateaubriand. He is an adult cat, black with yellow-green eyes, long haired, he’s called Whistler, is operated and is not at all fearful. I think it’s the same cat that was seen on the corner of Viau, Adam… the person who reported him says she has put a red collar on him.

In recent months, I noticed this cat wandering in my neighborhood. At the time, the cat was too timid and would not let me near him. Over time, he or she began to trust me and as it was getting very cold, I brought him home. I can not keep him or her indefinitely, I have three cats.
I’m not sure if it’s a male or a female, because he (she) will not let me look and still holds its tail down. I don’t remember exactly when I saw him for the first time, but it’s been several months and as he (she) was already skinny at that point, it must be a long time that he is lost.
Ps: you can’t see in the picture, but the tip of her tail is white, and he talks a lot.

i was taking out the garbage and my cat (Zoro) bolted out the door. I’ve been looking for him day and night, he had an eye condition and his right eye is a bit yellow and red and out off place. he’s a chunky big boy, a black cat wearing a black collar with silver studs on it. He also has a very obvious white spot on the tip off his tail as if somone dipped it in white paint. He’s very kind and gentle and if you approach him with food h’ell come running to you, even if he doesn’t know you. in the picture he’s wearing a red Santa coat i put on him. H’s not wearing it obviously but i wish he was, it’s cold out and it hurts my heart to think of him with no food and in the snow. If you see him please, please contact me. He was a alley cat but long ago. He disappeared in the allies and i believe he’s around Everett and Jean Talon. I live on Papineau and Everett.

On the night of December 23rd, we lost Brigitte, our 8 months old solid blue kitten on Casgrain street, corner of Villeray (in Villeray). She is not spayed nor declawed. Super affectionate but has a bit of an attitude. She is small with green/yellow eyes (the picture is a little dated).

We lost our cat “Jamel” this morning (Monday, January 2, 2012), he has “thumbs on his front paws and a fluffy tail (a bit like a squirrel), he has no collar and is not used to going outside. He is neutered and declawed on his front paws only.
He got out early this morning (about 7:30am) when the wind suddenly opened our back door, we were asleep when the cold woke us up. Jamel was down in the backyard (we live on the 3rd floor), we tried to catch him but he ran into the street. Our zip code is H2R 1J9.

I have lost a cat that I adopted last winter. She was an abandoned cat and I took care of her for several months. I sadly have no picture. Its an adult female tabby with yellow eyes with short and very thick hair. She is rather tall, not big, just longer than most of the cats I usually see. She is very affectionate and will purr as soon as you pet her. I moved out of Montreal this summer and have been looking for her since. She was not there for several days when I moved, she still had stray cat behavior and was used to staying outside for days at a time. I was living on Cartier between Beaubien and Bellechasse. However, and old neighbor told me a girl living on the area of Lajeunesse, Jean -Talon or Chateaubriand Bélanger adopted her, but the cat left after a day and was never seen again. If I knew she was found I would have taken her right away but nobody contacted me. She could be anywhere in Villeray or Rosemont. I go in the area often with food and I call her but I need help to find her. Thank you so much for your help!

Last night, my boyfriend and I were able to catch 1 of 2 cats that have been around our house lately. (St. Denis and Jarry, H2R 2G2). He has short hair, is all black, with a black nose too, not declawed, not sterilized, and has a few white hairs on his chest. Very very affectionate.
I am going to look at posters and sites to see if anyone is looking for him – and if not, I will get him vaccinated and fixed, and then hopefully get him a spot (eventually) at the shelter where I volunteer (no-kill). I am ALSO going to keep trying to catch the other one as they seem to have been companions.
