Very, very happy to hear that Dobby has been found!

My husband is a patroller on the A25 Bridge. Yesterday afternoon he found a beautiful white dog (mix of Husky and Labrador… we think!) My spouse telephoned the authorities (Berger Blanc, as well as the SPCA and SQ) and all responded that it was not from their territory or their jurisprudence. The dog was found on the route to Montreal.
So I asked my spouse to bring him home. (We love animals… we already have a dog). We would love to keep him if no owner manifests themselves…
Our new life partner feels very good in the warmth of our large house. He eats well, and has adapted well. But in good conscience, we knew we had to announce his . For we are certain that there are owners crying somewhere …

i found a very sweet older white fluffy dog today outside my door near Metro Jarry (H2P2E5). It is a female West Highland Terrier. VERY sweet, not a lot of teeth, pink ribbons on her head fur. Poor thing. We dropped her off at Berger Blanc around 6pm today:
UPDATE : The owner has picked up her dog, she is home! Phew!

I found a stray all white dog, has a pink medal, thin and starving, if I could catch her with my biscuits I could tell you more, but she is very skiddish, but loves my dog and will play with us but will not come close enough to catch. Somebody must be missing her, she is beautiful! and well taken care of… besides being to thin.
* She’s not a lost dog from my city, I checked.
UPDATE : This girl was caught with cookies and patience! Her tags are from 2010, and she is from SPAA territory, registered as Inouk. Her family is being looked for.
UPDATE: She’s a husky, does not enter the house (she refuses) so I believe a working dog, she was well treated and loved, obviously, but she is starving and wounded in the shoulder (a bite). She responds to simple commands, but hates the leash, and likes to play with it! She must be 2-3 years old. I have not yet found her owner and am looking for them. Today we’ll put a few posters in the neighborhood but my city is notified, it was suggested I call them to pick up their stray dog, but I know the rule of 3 days = euthanasia – so not interested. I’ll find her family or I will give a new one. She adopted me because she knows I will do her no harm, that’s a promise, and I’ll find her family… please pass this message, but the person must answer a question that her owner will only know the answer… I do not want to give her to a dealer. SPAA asked me to keep her until Friday, they are researching with her medals dating from two years ago… which is how I learned her name: Inouk, Thanks
Misty is home already! A little less white for now, and tired, but otherwise she’s well! Thanks Matt for seeing her home!

Found husky in Aylmer. Male, neutered and desperate for his people! Anyone missing a dog? One of our fosters found him this morning and will hold him until tomorrow.

Message received this morning :
I wanted to advise that on February 17th at about 8pm there were 2 pitbulls running alone near Beaubien and 6e avenue (one brown and one white).
If in the area, please keep an eye out!

On Feb 14th at 1:30am my husband found a “shih tzu” or lhasa apso, She is very calm and clean, She was found in the VILLE EMARD district, she had no Identification on her! We took her to the Vet she has no micro chip, the vet believes she’s about 4-5 years old!

JULY 31ST : Finally, a happy ending for this sweetheart, dubbed Felix, and who was first posted here on June 1st 2010! I didn’t think I’d hear what became of him, but his story reemerged recently when Nancy was preparing to leave the city, and set about finding a home for him in earnest. He was neutered, became the subject of a few videos, a blog was created for him and a facebook group was created! That seems to be what it takes sometimes, with the amount of cats in need of homes. His first home was not to work out, as Nancy felt he needed to be an indoor cat. He’d spent his life outside, so the risk of him disappearing was high. And now he’s settling into that new home, thanks to the dedicated efforts of Nancy and friends! Here’s wishing him a long and happy life, and kudos to all who helped in the campaign to find a home for Felix!
UPDATE – FEB 14TH : So sorry to hear that after all the effort to give Felix a happy ending, it has just come out that he was lost some time shortly after being adopted, so in the month of August. He could be anywhere from the area of Papineau and Masson, and might have found his way back to his colony in Villeray.
